Purpose
We are here to provide Spiritual Support for Cancer Patients:
Spiritual Support is to be accomplished through both Individual and
Corporate Prayer's. Group Members will provide encouragement through Bible
reading with those cancer victims and family members. We will be showing or
support through visitation written communications and telephone calls
There are many Ministry's, each with a specific purpose. There are so many
reasons why you should consider becoming part of a Ministry you believe in.
By becoming a member or supporting this ministry your are reaching out to
the people of this community, and beyond. Many whom could pass on and never
know the lord, We want to give them a chance at Eternal Life with our Lord
an Savior Jesus.

In 2000 Pastor Frank Sossamon envisioned a need for a ministry to assist those diagnosed with cancer, and as a result the ISH Ministry was formed. The ministry was formed with just a handful of members, but has grown to the current number of 28. This ministry has been able to assist patients and their families in a variety of ways. We have provided spiritual support by visiting and praying with them and holding group meetings to bring families together facing similar needs. We have also provided psychological support by showing them through God's word that He is more than able to assist these families from fundraising events that we continue to have and donations made by people of our community.
